Reactions & Emojis Packs - Create, Add, Share, Remove
Vector supports fully customized emojis that work across all devices and can be used in private messages, group chats, and communities with no restrictions on where they can be used. Custom emojis can be either static images or animated GIFs. Vector comes with a default emoji library of 1,912 emojis. Recently used emojis are displayed at the top in order of use, making it easier to quickly reference and react with your preferred emojis. You can also click on the name of the pack to collapse the display and click on it again to expand. This can be a helpful tool when you have a large emoji library to navigate.
Emoji Reactions
You can react with emojis on any message, including your own. Hover over a message to bring up the action menu, where you can add a reaction or reply. To remove a reaction you have added, simply click it again beneath the message. If you want to add several reactions at once, hold shift while clicking to keep the emoji panel open and stack multiple reactions without it closing between each one.
Emoji Packs
Creating, sharing, and collecting Emoji Packs has never been easier. Follow the steps above to create your own custom Emoji Pack. Once created, you can share your pack by right-clicking on it and selecting Share Pack to get a custom URL. This link will display the full Emoji Pack in your browser, or if posted in Vector, it will appear as an embedded message prompting users to add it to their collection via the Add Pack button. As of v0.4.0, users can have up to 3 custom Emoji Packs with a maximum of 30 emojis per pack.

Share Pack
Emoji Packs can be shared both inside Vector and externally through a custom URL hosted on the Vector website. Each Emoji Pack has its own public URL, allowing others on the network to discover and add the packs you have created. Below is an example of the Vector Pixel Pack.
Add Pack
There are two ways to add Emoji Packs in Vector. The first is shared above by clicking Equip Pack in Vector on the custom Emoji Pack URL. This will automatically open up your app and add the Emoji Pack for you. The other method is shared via Vector messages, whether private or group chats. By pasting the Emoji Pack URL in chat, it will display an embedded message with a preview of the emojis as well as the details. At the bottom right, it allows you to Copy Pack or Add Pack. Simply click Add Pack to add it to your collection.
Remove Pack
If you reach your 3-pack limit, you can delete individual emojis and add new ones, or right-click and select Delete Pack to start fresh. Adding, creating, removing, and sharing packs is straightforward and fully within your control. By default, each user has access to nearly 2,000 emojis, plus 90 additional slots to either create custom emojis or add packs of your choosing.
