Support Vector with Donations

circle-check

As free and open-source technology, Vector is built from scratch and relies on contributors from around the world, both in terms of code contributions as well as financial donations. Grants and donations are one way to support developers, the growth of the Vector Privacy ecosystem, and general education and awareness on the human right to privacy.

Support Vector Privacy

Vector Privacy is built by a small, independent team dedicated to private communication for everyone. We don't run ads, sell data, or answer to investors—just the community. Your support keeps Vector independent, open-source, and free.

Why Donate?

Donations directly fund:

  • Open-Source Development — New features, bug fixes, security audits

  • Decentralized Infrastructure — Relay servers, build systems, distribution

  • Independence & Sovereignty — No corporate investors, no strings attached

Every contribution, big or small, helps us stay focused on privacy, not profit.

Transparency

Fundamentally, a key component of open-source culture is transparency. It's important for everyone to know where their contributions, energy, and donations are really going. These numbers may slightly fluctuate depending on scenarios, but we wanted to provide our best insight on where we see donations and resources best spent (at this stage of development). If we feel there are necessary changes that need to be implemented to optimize our model, we will do our best to reflect them here.
